Why on earth shouldn't we accept you as you are, you always sound like a really nice person. We all, perhaps, have differing view on various subjects which is just as well otherwise life would become very boring. It doesn't mean we have to fall out over them though, as different doesn't necessarily mean wrong, just different. That's what makes life and people interesting.

Meant to say I was pleased it was the Year of the Dog - I like dogs, they are loving, companionable and intelligent beings. I lost my old dog earlier this year and I miss her a lot, she was a good friend.

Kennc,I enjoy reading your posts because you always make allowances for what the other person thinks.This is very rare these days.And what's more, you seem to have a far better idea of political history than most of us, specially me.
Dogs are some of my favourite people too.And parrots of course.
Let's all hope in this Year of the Dog that people across the world will wake up to the fact that animals have rights.
Happy Happy New Year Kennc, Kathrinn and all you lovely TDG people who keep me going throughout the year.
I realised how much you all meant to me when I was in hospital and rereading all our conversations here in my mind.

Let's hope that the world wakes up to the fact that all people and animals have rights. And, for those that delude themselves and bask in their own glory, let us hope that they wake up to the fact that both power and glory are fleeting and that nobody has a divine right to run anything! So, let us hope for PEACE ON EARTH, but not at any price!

Just recovered from a major computer crash......5 hours later today with a tender head.....it's all good :-{)
