Psychologist Oliver James analyses the behaviour of the American president

So George, how do you feel about your mom and dad? http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12...

Excerpt -
This incident may be an insight into Bush's strange tendency to find the wrong words in making public pronouncements. "Is our children learning?" he once famously asked. On responding to critics of his intellect he claimed that they had "misunderestimated" him. Perhaps these verbal faux-pas are a barely unconscious way of winding up his bullying mother and waving two fingers at his cultured father's sensibility. -----------------------------Truth is stranger than fiction.

I wish that the world really knew how dangerous Christian Fundamentalists really are! I promise you that George Bush and every other Christian Fundamentalist believe that a nuclear war would bring on the second coming of Jesus Christ! I know the theology. What do you think that the real reasons for his missil shields are?

Eventhough truth is stranger than fiction, nothing is stranger than a religious fundamentalist, especially a Christian Fundamentalist!

Dear Cnnek, Since I still live inside the states I had better keep my thoughts to myself. Just attempting to answer this I have been cut off and it was an ordeal to get logged back on. So I'll stay out here on the end of this broken limb. Like Kat, I'm looking out for those men in black. Take care. Love, Pam -----------------------------Truth is stranger than fiction.

Dear cennek, I am allowed into my a o l mail account once maybe twice a week. Then I can only look at the mail. I can't delete it or open an email or write a reply. I was fortunate enough to get one open from Greg Taylor yesterday and send a reply before it fizzeled out on me. I have done everything I have been told to do regarding logging on and following their protocol but to no avail.

It has been a real hardship for me as it's one way of keeping in contact with relatives. Now, I can no longer rely on it and have gone back to calling on the phone with a land line, explaining my circumstance and also simply through snail mail. Thanks cnnek for the thought, that was very kind of you!

Love, Pam -----------------------------Truth is stranger than fiction.

From my Google e-mail account, I can invite you to Google and you can kiss AOL goodbye. In the meantime, get on to the web and go to Yahoo. I have two Yahoo e-mail accounts and, like Google, they are free. I do everything on the Wonderful Web. Take ten minutes to open a Yahoo e-mail account. Then, I can send the invitation to Google to your new Yahoo account. Then, after taking ten minutes to set up your new Google e-mail account, you will have 3 gigabytes, 3,000,000,000 bytes, of free storage space, as well as, almost everything else that Yahoo and Google have to offer free, i.e. search engine, u-tube, free translation, news, etc.!

Try it! You might like it!

I think I wrote on another thread, that Pam (or indeed anyone) should ditch their AOL email.

Google email (gmail) is a good alternative.

Of course, all your email on Google, or Yahoo, or AOL, or pretty much anyplace, is like sending a postcard. Pretty much public.

Cnnek, what you are saying is not an exaggeration. I remember hearing an evangelical minister / lecturer argue the case for no holds barred mining and development using the 'Jesus is coming soon' theory. In essence, he was saying it doesn't matter what state you leave the world in, the end is nigh and magic god is going to create a new heaven and earth for us all.

Wheeee!

As an aside, I was traveling to work yesterday morning and was stuck behind a small bus. The rear window of the bus was plastered with christian stickers. One read "Bring back the death penalty." Another read "What part of 'Thou Shalt Not'" do you not understand?" I wondered if the owner of the bus had ever considered the irony of having those two stickers placed together.

A2, you can't even have a discussion with them, it turns into some weird twisted thought process. I had to walk away, it was far too convoluted for me, "so good luck with that" is what I was thinking. When you or I see this it strikes us as absurd. To them it simply is a way to have it their way. -----------------------------Truth is stranger than fiction.

The next great war will be a war of religions.

Like Hitler who unwittingly had for consequence uniting Europe, the world will see itself no alternative but to unite or die after the fact.

Had Hitler not been, Europe would still be at its territorial challenges, such challenges as had been for the whole of their history.

We are muppets and are brought to act because we are totally ignorant of the nature of our reality. Wars are acted upon the capacity of the populations to unite behind a belief or another while forces at hand make sure that those populations remain within the circle of power of their influence, under the guise of so called cultural values and ideologies.

Until we have broken the seal of the mystery behind the thought process, this phenomena will remain and the psychological Earth will not escape its one-track mind.

unless something passive happens to change the mindset of all on earth I feel this is the path we are taking......war....
We are moving more quickly to the fork in the road/timeline. In the furure, this coming decade will be looked upon as the great change of mindset and thought.
Unfortunatly will also be the bloodiest in human history.
There are two ways of doing most things, with kindness, gentle and soothing or cruel, nasty and painful. One outcome has a better result for the many, the other a better result for the few.
The power brokers who control the world have made a deal with the devil for their continued survival and power.
They will not release that without a fight.

For Pam....as cnnek sugested to e-mail him and he will post. This will not work as the SSS of all countries have roving botts that pick up key words and track or copy. The same as how google works but more evasive. Never mind, I have been on the list of "parties of interest" for a few years now. No use hidding under a rock.

Marissa

I have 7 non-aol e-mail accounts with a total of almost 15 giga-bytes of free storage space. And, all of them work very well! By the way, Yahoo is about to go the google rout and offer unlimited free storage space. So, you might want to open a few more Yahoo e-mail accounts!
