B12 and Me

I haven't felt good for some time now. And come to find out its B12! Muscle pain and fatigue. Real pain, very low energy, brain fog(that was starting to get scary). Wow what a difference a vitamin makes. For about 3 days after my first shot, I felt like a teenager again! Hope I can convince my Doc to give me more then once a month, twice a week would be great.

Maybe I should increase my vitamins intake too. My energy level is really low.

Also have caused the problem. Prilosec, and birth control, both can block absorbtion. Plus, though I haven't had a drink in 8 + years. Drinking will drain your body of many vitamins, including B12. I did take vitamins every day, but my B complex didn't have B-12 in it. I don't know why? Now I'm rechecking everything. And working with a tummy doc to try and get off the Prilosec. Doing some acid checks, and rethinking some of my eating habits. Which are ok, but can always improve. More meat, and cheese for b12, that's for sure.

Many things can upset the balance of chemicals in our bodies.

I have been tired a lot lately, and it does not seem related to drinking or not drinking. I can drink with the best of them, and then for some time I don't drink alcohol at all.

I don't smoke anything, never have. I get enough sunlight and fresh air, don't stay inside all the time.

I don't take any prescription meds, don't inject anything. Probably I eat reasonably healthy - a mix of meats, seafood, green and colored veggies, basic staples like rice, potatoes, pasta etc.

It does not seem related to these things.

Perhaps I am just getting old :)
