On-Line Petition to Free Schapelle Corby

Acknowledgement to Shadows, ankh and all the others on this blog space who are actively involved for the campaigning to return Schapelle Corby to Australia and freedom. Why EVERY Australian citizen is not screaming from the rooftops about this is BEYOND me. I have written to Govt Ministers, I am writing letters daily to the Melboune Newspapers and I am "publicising" the petitions. Let's not just sit back apathetically and watch this play out to a conclusion that none of us will want to live with for the rest of our lives!!

Below is an extract from the on-line petition to FREE Scahpelle Corby. http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/corby
So far, Australia with a population of some 18 million has manged to accumulate 3283 signatures. Clearly, time is running out for Schapelle as the court case draws to a close. it is my view is that many more people would sign this petition if they knew about it... So ladies, gentlemen, girls and boys of Australia, please be aware that there is something that each of us can do to register our thoughts and feelings on this issue... will it help? I hope so.. It certainly won't HURT!!

We will not forget about her!

I believe Schapelle is innocent. I left for Singapore last July with my 7 year old daughter. While in the queue to check luggage in and seat allocation at Tullamarine, I was tapped on the shoulder by an airport employee and advised as i was travelling alone with a child, I had alot of zips on my bags it was advisable i get them wrapped up in plastic for $15.00 which is now a service at the airport (it must be needed). So I did just that. The airport employee also added there had been many problems with goods being placed in peoples bags.

I have never been to Bali, but did want to make a trip, I will now not be going, and will discourage my older children and their friends to not go.

Thank-you for your input- your own experience speaks volumes. People need to wake-up and realise there is such a fine line between where they are & where Schapelle is- it's intensely frightening!

...I think is worded incorrectly.

I would feel a little edgy about signing that.

If you had someone re-write it for you I might consider it.

Well done for all your efforts though. But we must not forget those other 9 people who are in jail in Bali and who were set up for arrest there by the AFP.

I am an American who has lived in Bali for more than 2 years, and I have friends (high places) in the government who told me they can garantee the release of Schapelle Corby, from prison. She will be black-listed to never return to Bali, however there are nealy 100 people that will need to be paid off, which is difficult, yet possible. Basically they will all turn a blind eye for 48 hrs, and then declare her an escaped convict. Furthermore, she cannot use the airport as a means of travel, a yatch or sailing vessel must be used to smuggle her out of Indonesia. This will put her life at risk because if she is recaptured, she will definitley be put to death. A monetary sum of 3.5 million USD will be needed to pay off the government....again this only buys a 48 hour window for her to get outside Indonesian waters. Furthermore her family must be discretly notified about this offer because any national or foriegn press about this offer could jeopardise this rescue attempt, and then no amount of money will be able to free her. My name is Tom: contact me at 62-8155-8128-196 serious inquiries only....
