Osman movie planned
Posted by Terrence at 12:55, 14 Apr 2005I read (http://www.middle-east-online.com/englis...) that a movie is planned, based on the scholarly work of Ahmed Osman.
Osman, whose 1990 book "Moses and Akhenaten: The Secret History of Egypt at the Time of the Exodus," has posed a striking theory about ancient Egypt and Israel that is compelling and haunting in its implications.
I fear that a Hollywood-style treatment will sensationalize and even trivialize a great book.

Rumour has it that Hollywood will enlist the great man himself, Zahi the Great, to star as Seti I, due to his link with his direct ancestry.
Unfortunately for Zahi, Producers are concerned with an abnormal growth from the rear of Zahi's torso, which cannot be hidden by digital manipulation. Intensive investigations found it to be an unknown archeologist by the name of Mark Lehner, who had permanently attached himself to the great one's rear apendage many years earlier.
Reasons given for this attachment were a failing career and lack of funding for diggings. This was supported by the Cayce foundation which supprisingly had an interest in this so called story.
