Fourth Toe Arrives on Schedule
Posted by Peter_Novak at 15:03, 14 Jun 2006With the 6.3 magnitude quake in Alaska today.
See http://www.urbansurvival.com/week.htm
and http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/rece...
Of course, for the prediction to hold true, we will now need to see an absence of any other major (~ 6.0+) earthquakes for about two weeks, until "the big one" hits.

If you think that a 6.3 magnitude quake is unusual, go look here:
http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/eqar...
That is a list of big quakes, or quakes with fatalities.
I count 14 so far that are 6.3 or more, just for this year (as of June 14, 2006). The site has lists for other years, you can find them easily.

No, what is unusual is someone predicting the timing sequence of five quakes a half a year before they occur. So far, four of the five have arrived exactly as predicted. We had one very noticable quake and then a long pause devoid of any major earthquakes, and then a series of three equal quakes one right after the other. If we have another equal length pause of about two weeks without another major quake, I'll be in a state of high anticipation for that fifth quake at the end of those two weeks.

there are "noticable" earthquakes practically every day. Go look again at the USGS site, there won't be a pause.
Unless of course you define a "major" quake to suit the predictions.
We shall see, in less than a month, as your source predicts. I predict we will still be here.

this site is good for all info on quakes. Good map on the main page as well.
