Today visit to 4 wonderful Milan historic houses:
Bagatti Valsecchi, Boschi Di Stefano, Villa Necchi Campiglio, Poldi Pezzoli

As usual, a truly interesting link. I'm going to have to delve into each museum house site to see all I can. Which of the four is your favorite?

Even if I have not a true favourite, I have a predilection for the strict and modern style, futuristic for those times, of Villa Necchi.

I think I would have to choose the Bagatti Valsecchi from an intellectual or visual standpoint. The rich detail and classically-inspired forms are very appealing. However, if I had to live in my choice, I would only be comfortable in the Villa Necchi. It is more of a place where the imagination can roam, rather than be engaged.
