On the prints of EDO period, at example “Hyouryuukishuu” ( “Diary and tales of the castaways”) kept in the Iwase Bunko Library or in other books as “Toen Shousetsu” (1825), as also in a book of Kyokutei Bakin (famous for his 106 book dedicated to the samurai epic “Nansou Satomi Hakkenden”), or the article titled “Close Encounter on the japanese beach, 1803” translated by Kazuo Tanaka there is the narration of a spherical boat (height 3,3 and width 5,4 meters) material similar at wood and iron, with color of wood of red sandal, windows of glass or crystal, and, on inner wall, symbols and unknown inscriptions, appear on the beach.
Inside the boat there is a woman elegantly dressed, with white skin, red and white hair, that speaks a strange language and jealously keeps a box that, like the boat, have unknown symbols.
Dr. Kazuo Tanaka of the Gifu University have studied this story and have concluded that almost surely the woman and the boat was extraterrestrial.

It is amazing the sort of information that has been stuffed away in historical texts and ignored or forgotten. I wish the good Dr. Tanaka success in his investigations.
