Thanks for the card - it was beautiful. Loved the little rabbit that hopped about while the card was loading.

As is common in the land of synchronicities, yesterday I went to see 'Gran Torino' by Clint Eastwood; a film with a cranky bigot old man, a cool car and cute dog just like the one in your card! :)
Thanks for the card. Great to see (read?) you back.

It's not the depth of the rabbit hole that bugs me...
It's all the rabbit SH*T you stumble over on your way down!!!

Ciao Kathrinn, Ciao Junkie, Ciao Bladerunner
Yes I live in Italy, born in Narni (Narnia www.dailygrail.com/node/2190) and live exactly in Ostia Lido a town on the sea near Rome, these are my photos:

The earthquake is in Abbruzzo, in L'Acquila and the country around, in the centre of Italy, far away from Rome but it has been very strong (often we feel it even if Rome is far) and continues every days even if now seems little little more weak, but always dangerous because the houses that seems enire are very damaged.
Has been a true tragedy because the houses (don't only the ancient palaces, but also the modern buildings) was builded with cheap and illegal material, so there are a lot victims and big work of reconstruction.
This is L'Aquila:

Pleased that you are all right.
Strangely enough, about 10 days before the quakes hit I was quite distressed one day, couldn't concentrate on anything, and felt as if the world had been shattered into shards as if someone had thrown a rock at reality and broken everything into little jagged pieces. Several times I was close to tears and felt that several hundred people's lives were in danger of being lost. Another friend also felt the same way.
When I heard about the Italian quake it all made sense. I feel so sad for the people involved, the towns destroyed and the lives shattered or lost.
Hugs, Kathrinn
