This Parajanov seems like an interesting fellow, clearly multidisciplinary like any self-respected reinassence man.

Although I admit, some of his work (by some I mean MOST) is hard for me to understand. Tell me, why do you find him so interesting yourself?

BTW, did you know that Fellini's script "Trip to Tulum" is finally being made as a movie?

Parajanov seems criptic and maybe is not so easy understand or also only follow his movies.
I have been fascinated, captured, from “Legend of Suram Fortress” and “Colour of Pomergranate” for their dilated atmosphere full of tradition of his country and full of pictorial reference. Parajanov seems criptic and maybe is not always easy to understand his films, I love his work because it is original, unique and even if his name is often connected to many other names of great artists, I think that these connections can be misleading.

About the movie from Fellini's script, if you understand the Italian language can read here:

In short the news are that the movie will be make between Mexico and Cinecittà the director is Marco Bartoccioni
and seems that it will be a mix between animation movie and scenes with actors, the begin of work was scheduled for this January 20…

Yeah, from what I read in the papers (the story was run here in Mexico) the parts where Fellini, Mastroiani and Castañeda appear will be done in animation. Seems a very interesting project.

What I don't understand is if all these news are concrete news or not, the project seems fine but it is not clear if the work is really began...
