ciao bella,

lovely links - especially molise - its too often overlook
because italy is fulled with so many beautifull sites.

few years ago i went back to molise for aunts 50th wedding
anniversity and they did it at nearby church - all churchs in italy are beautifull but this one very special.

heres a cute song from you-tube since i mention a love that last forever - its from pavarotti

See video

lately i been thinking - maybe in few years i may spend 6 months in italy every year- vineyards there - making wine, cherries, chestnuts, figs, olives, - sounds so appealing to me. :)

That's some church - and pretty unbelievable that it's gothic style was created as recently as 1975. Very beautiful - I'd love to see the internal spaces, they must be spectacular. Thanks for the link.

Regards, Kathrinn

ciao bello ;-)
thanks for the links

Molise is always overlook and forgotten, because all people thinks only to Venice, Rome, Tuscany, Sardinia, but exists also Basilicata, Val D'Aosta, Friuli Venizia Giulia...

About vineyards etc a my friend is painter and etcher, engraver on silver, but have also the another job: makes wine, olive and olive oil, when you will return in Italy I will tell you where to taste other wine and agricultural produce.

ty bella,

things are so much better fresh,

i remember on one visit - they went to mill and they crush the corn for them to get corn flour.

sister brought back their olive oil - it broke in suitcase what a mess lol.

and for the wine - being a ciamarra - heaven forbid me to refuse to taste wine. lol i make a great wine too.

update = although this article saddens me
Italy's woodlands dying due to climate change

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/main.jh...

A report represented to the Italian government said that eight out of 10 trees across Italy's varied ecosystems were already suffering from the effects of rising temperatures and diminishing rainfall.

I know I wrote it before, but what a beautiful church.

And from what I could understand by reading the news, there was an apparition of the Virgin Mary in that area?

yes red about 130 years ago there was a apparition there with 2 shephard girls and then later with another one.

theres good and bad everywhere, but that area seems to raise some good people - pure of heart -
my mothers brother still has sheep there - and its no surprise apparition tends to go to those type of people.

but there are some bad ones there too like everywhere.
