Tagliate ogni candela ad una diversa altezza, mettete ciascuna candela in una sua propria terrina con zucchero o farina, in questo modo le candele sembreranno tutte della stessa lunghezza, ed accenderle.
Chi troverà la candela più corta sarà poco fortunato,
invece chi troverà la candela più lunga avrà un anno davvero entusiasmante.

chi si siederà sulla sedia dove è nascosta la chiave avrà successo nel lavoro,
chi si siederà sulla sedia dove è nascosta la moneta avrà entrate di denaro impreviste,

Mettere questi 3 fagioli in un cestino e bendati si estrae a sorte.
Chi trova il fagiolo integro avrà tanti soldi e tanta fortuna,
chi trova il fagiolo sbucciato a metà avrà un anno di alti e bassi,
chi troverà il fagiolo senza buccia dovrà fare economie.
