Fairy tale of Autumn - Fiaba d’Autunno

A tale for the new season

In the lands of North was the last days of Summer and Sun’s was more slender.
A morning a little bird that crossed the Ancient Wood wounded a his wing.
So not being able to fly the bird asked to a great beech the permission to take refuge between his branchs to spend the Autumn, but the beech rejected.
So asked to a chestnut, but also this denial.
So asked to a oak, to a birch, but also them denied.
At the sunset the little bird heard 2 tenuous voices that called and offers refuge:
they was a little fir-tree and a little juniper that gives his berries.
So the little bird changes himself:
he as the Fairy Mist that give start to the Autumn visiting the Ancient Wood.
“Since today the trees that have denied their help will suffer the cold of the North, instead the fir-tree and the will not lose their leafs and will be Evergreen”
So decided the Fairy Mist that disappeared into the silver haze.
