July 14- Birthday of Osiris (God of the Dead)
July 15- Birthday of Horus (King of the Gods on Earth)

I giorni epagomeni erano 5 giorni che, nel calendario dell'Antico Egitto, venivano aggiunti alla fine dell'anno per compensare lo squilibrio tra il calendario reale e quello "civile".
Si narra che il dio Toth, associato alla sapienza e alla Luna, li avesse conquistati giocando una partita a senet. Atum aveva infatti vietato che dall'unione di Nut e di Geb nascessero figli. In tal modo, in questi cinque giorni, la dea Nut avrebbe invece potuto concepire da Geb quattro dei: Iside, Osiride, Neftis e Seth. Nel quinto giorno, invece, sarebbe nato Horus, figlio di Iside e Osiride.
I giorni erano i seguenti:
14 luglio: Nascita di Osiride
15 luglio: Nascita di Horus
16 luglio: Nascita di Seth
17 luglio: Nascita di Iside
18 luglio: Nascita di Neftis
In seguito, si iniziò ad aggiungere un giorno ogni quattro anni, equivalente al 29 febbraio dell'anno bisestile.
