THE MOON OF THE SEED

Even if the family of the young Cont hindered this marriage his visits to the Badia Tedalda was always more frequent.
A night of Full Moon, while Rosalia and the Cont Manfredi was at the balcony to exchange love warmth, Rosalba revealed the secret of the Mountain of the Moon to him.
The girl said “If, when the Moon seems rested on the mountain, if somebody is capable touch her every wishes would be granted. It is narrated that on the Mountain are hidden great treasures, but nobody have found them. The Mountain belongs to the Moon and she kills whoever wants to steal her treasures”.
The young Cone decided to go on the mountain to touch the Moon and to take possession of her wealths, so nobody would have chance to resist to their marriage.
The girl without doubts decided to follow him even on the top of the mountain...
The tow lovers saddled the horses, left together but never more they came back.
Since that time the charcoal burners, woodcutters and all the inhabitants of that mountains narrates that in some night of Full Moon hears the passage of two horses and sees a boy and a girl with their hand outstreatched in direction the top in the desperate attempt to touch the Moon.

LA LUNA DEL SEME
Luna del seme, luna dei venti, luna dell’aratro, luna del verme, luna primaverile, luna della linfa, Flusso che si espande all’esterno; crescendo, prosperando, esplorando.
Luna dei nuovi inizi, dell’equilibrio del buio e della luce, della fine delle illusioni che dà una visione della verità nella vostra vita.
E’festeggiata indossando qualcosa di verde, bruciando candele dello stesso colore e l'incenso composto da anice, lavanda e rosmarino, mangiando pane con semi di sesamo e latte.
Mettere all’aperto un fascio di fili colorati ben in vista, così che gli uccelli possano usarli per costruire il nido.

LEGGENDA ITALIANA
Durante una delle celebri feste che i conti di Montedoglio tenevano nel loro castello di Badia Tedalda, il giovane conte Manfredi di Montedoglio conobbe Rosalia, figlia del podestà di Colcellalto: se ne innamorò perdutamente.
Anche se la famiglia del giovane ostacolava questa unione le visite del Conte a Badia Tedalda erano sempre più frequenti.
Una notte Luna Piena, mentre i due stavano al balcone a scambiarsi effusioni d´amore, Rosalba svelò al giovane il segreto dell’Alpe della Luna.
La ragazza disse: “ Se, quando la Luna sembra appoggiata all´Alpe, uno riesce a toccarla tutti i suoi desideri sarebbero esauditi. Si narra che sull’Alpe siano nascosti immensi tesori, ma che nessuno sia mai riuscito a scovarli. L’Alpe appartiene alla Luna e lei uccide chiunque voglia trafugare i suoi tesori”.
Il giovane decise di andare sull’Alpe per toccare la Luna e impossessarsi delle sue ricchezze, così che poi nessuno avrebbe più potuto opporsi al loro matrimonio.
La fanciulla non ebbe alcun dubbio, decise che avrebbe seguito ovunque l’amato e lo avrebbe accompagnato anche sull’Alpe della Luna...
I due ragazzi, sellati i cavalli, partirono insieme, ma non tornarono mai più.
Da allora carbonai, boscaioli e tutti gli abitanti dell’Alpe raccontano che in certe notti di Luna Piena sentono il passaggio di due cavalli al galoppo vedono un ragazzo ed una ragazza con le mani protese in alto nel disperato tentativo di toccare la Luna.
