SEPTEMBER 7: GANESHA CHATURTHI, HE WHO THAT REMOVES THE HANDICAPS
Posted by KATYA at 12:41, 07 Sep 2005- SEPTEMBER 7: GANESHA CHATURTHI,
HE WHO THAT REMOVES THE HANDICAPS
In this occasion the Ganesha’s devouts prepares sculptures and pictures of elephant head
that after 10 days of reverence they throws in the sea or into a river.
It is important that in this time the Ganesha’s devouts don’t look the Moon.
They say that a day a snake scared Ganesha, as a consequence he fell from the mouse that he employed to move himself. Falling his abdomen opened itself and all the rice-sweets that he had eaten (Gansha was very greedy of rice-sweet) fell from it. Anyway Ganesha put all the sweets in his abdomen again keeping tied all by the snake. The Full Moon, that saw all the scene twisted herself for the laughters so Ganesha, offended, hurled against her 1 of his tusks, but it never more returned to him.

- 7 SETTEMBRE: GANESHA CHATURTHI,

floppy, it should be someone like Ganesha. He is colourful and I think represents education and wisdom and we could all do with a bit of that.
After all Jesus seems to have been a bit of a flop.Look what the Christians are doing in his name.
