KRISHNA JAYANTI (JANMASTHAMI)
Celebration of Krishna’s birth that falls the eighth day of the waning phase of the Moon in the Indian month Shravan.
The astrologer have estimated that Krishna was born in the 3227 BC in Mathura.
Krishna born from a black hair that Visnu pulled put from his head and placed it in Devaki’lap that the tyrant Kansa confined into a room of his palace, because Narada in his prophecy said that Devaki would have delivered his killer
But when Krishna born the guards of the palace fell in a deep sleep, all the doors opened so Vasudeva put him in safety.

Celebrazione della nascita di Krishna che cade l’ottavo giorno della fase calante della Luna nel mese indiano di Shravan.
Gli astrologi hanno calcolato che Krishna nacque nel 3227 AC a Mathura.
Krishna nacque da un capello nero che Visnu staccò dalla sua testa e posò nel grembo di Devaki, che il tiranno Kansa imprigionò in una stanza del suo palazzo, poiché il saggio Narada profetizzò che Devaki avrebbe partorito il suo uccisore.

Katya, I have a relative who is a Hindu lady and she will be celebrating Krishna's birthday.
She has a little doll of him that she keeps and she dresses it every day.
I also think she has dietary laws for that day.
