Tu be-Av: rural celebration and celebration of the betrothals, it sinks its roots in the time before the Talmud.
It was the last date to cut the wood after used to cook, build houses, to warm and for the sacrifices; Since that moment the trees and the nature would have had a fallow period until the beginning of the Nissan, the month of Spring.
In ancient time this same day was the celebration of the end of the vintage.
In this day the girls descended in the vineyards, out of Jerusalem, and danced; they wore a white dress, lent from another girl: King’s daughter lent her dress to priest’s daughter, priest’s daughter lent her dress to his assistant’s daughter etc…
All together danced and invited the boys , the boys followed the girls with hope to find a bride and the betrothals are celebrated.

Tu be-Av - festa agricola e festa dei fidanzamenti, affonda le sue radici ancora prima dei tempi del Talmud.
Era questa l'ultima data utile per tagliare la legna che sarebbe poi servita per cucinare, per costruire case, per riscaldare e per i sacrifici; da quel momento in poi si doveva dare agli alberi e alla natura un periodo di riposo, fino all'inizio del mese di Nissan, il mese della primavera.
Anticamente in questo stesso giorno era fissata la fine della vendemmia.
In questo giorno le ragazze scendevano nelle vigne, fuori dalle mura di Gerusalemme, e danzavano; indossavano tutte un vestito bianco, prestato da un'altra ragazza: la figlia del re prestava il suo vestito alla figlia del Sacerdote, la figlia del Sacerdote alla figlia dell'aiutante, e così via.
Tutte insieme danzavano e invitavano i giovani non impegnati, questi le seguivano con la speranza di trovare una sposa e si celebravano i fidanzamenti.

io provo ad andare al mare...
