- THE SCARZUOLA
The Scarzuola is a convent that S. Francesco founded in the 1218 in the woods of Montegiove (Terni) it still keeps one of the early fresco of the Saint made by an his contemporaneous artist. In the 1956 the architect Tommaso Buzzi with the restoration of the convent made a “Ideal Town”, an architectonic ensemble, a scenographic-symbolic way of green passages, gardens and water ways, that evokes the achievement of the spiritual harmony.

- LA SCARZUOLA
La Scarzuola è un convento fondato da S. Francesco nel 1218 fra i boschi di Montegiove (Terni) che ancora conserva uno dei primi affreschi del Santo eseguito da un artista suo contemporaneo.
Nel 1956 l'architetto Tommaso Buzzi affianca al ricupero del convento una “Città ideale”, complesso architettonico, un percorso scenografico-simbolico di corridoi verdi, giardini e percorsi d'acqua, che evoca il raggiungimento dell'armonia spirituale.
