Please, Stop

Please stop posting Schapelle Corby blogs. Please. I could think of about 5,000 more interesting (and worthy) discussions, but this is practically all we've had for the past 3 months. If you want to continue discussing it, there are currently (I think) about 13 blogs which you can continue discussing it in. I really don't want to look at today's blog list and see Schapelle Corby in the title of every one.

If you want to torture me, then stick a hot needle in my eyeball - it will be less painful.

Peace and Respect
Greg

LOL I thought it was just me, every time I came back there were more stories of Shappels case. It would have been nicer to have one..possibly two threads and stuck with them, did anyone else notice that most were started by people who don't often post (seemed like it to me) But anyway I agree Greg this thing is everywhere I turn and I am getting real sick of it

I had eye surgery last week and I am nearly blind and found it hard to go to the end of the blog.
Anyway it shows that there are penalties in the world for the disabled everywhere you turn.
I would never have been so rude as to post something like that directly after someone who has been so supportive has posted a blog.

Man Im sorry, err Lady, Im sorry. :) I had a bit of steel drilled out of my eye a long time ago and remember the pain that caused, I can only imagine what you went through. Aslo I didn't just mean in here but on the TV, radio and paper all there is is Corby. ANd I have to agree as well that at times it does become hard to find posts in the blogs and find the new ones amongst all the others. Don't worry too much, I still loves ya no matter how much we disagree or how disabled you are :)

I love you too.

If I had known what the surgery entailed I don't think I would have had the guts to go through with it.
No one actually told me that the anaesthetic was delivered via a needle inserted into the eyeball.
And the next one is 10 days away.

I have one very long-sighted eye with intraocular lens inserted and one very short-sighted eye without so I keep falling over.

I have struggled to post on here and to keep my spelling correct as I think it is rude not to do so.
I wear a patch over the eye I am not using so as to try and keep my balance but it is hard.

It's true that the Schapelle Corby case is getting a lot of publicity but it is a very serious situation.
I will avoid blogs in future as I just can't manage to find things while scrolling through.

Yes the anesthetic they use to numb the eye hurts a hell of a lot more than they let you know. Sorry to make a joke but I can just see you walking around with that patch and Captain on your shoulder. Aaaargh Me Hearties!

Hey EM people have been torturing me with that all week, although Captain went on holidays to the other Captains, my son and daughter in law and learned to drink rum.
Apparently he took to the rum like a priest.
He got a shock when he came home to decaf coffee.
I am going to get a pic taken of me with Captain on my shoulder and my patch on my eye.
Might as well, with all the jokers around here.

Hi Shadows,

hope your op went OK and that you'll be feeling better soon.

Just a thought (which will either amuse you or piss you off).
You say that after your surgery you're wearing an eye patch. I also know that you've got a parrot at home.

Have you taught it to say "Pieces of eight" yet? LOL

All you need now is a wooden leg, a penchant for rum and a jolly roger (if you'll pardon the expression)!

I don't mean to mock the afflicted, and I'm honestly not mocking, but it is a rather funny picture that's been painted, you'll have to admit!

Avast me hearties! Hoist the mainsail and lift the anchor!

yer ol' pal,

Xibalba

p.s. for what it's worth, I've started posting piss-take comments against a lot of these Corby blogs - they're pissing me off too!

p.p.s. Oops - I've just read the other comments about the pirate stuff. ROFL!

Greg I realy think this Corby stuff is getting out of hand, I am all for freedom of discussion and conflicting points of view but it is quickly developing into personal attacks as you should allready know (LMAO)

Perhaps all these people should make a website dedicated to this topic. It's not hard to find free webhosting, with all kinds of automated set-up tools to help you.

This has been getting so bad, people forgot to bash W!

Yes, I agree. I'm all for people being able to discuss what they like in their blogs, but I think a lot of new visitors are starting to think we are a Schapelle Corby action page or something, and posting blogs accordingly. Hence my request to continue discussion in the existing blogs.

Henceforth, let it be known that I shall delete any new blogs on Schapelle Corby from now on.

Peace and Respect
Greg
