Humans are the lemmings of the primate world…

Thanks to Johnny Walker.

Quote of the Day:

“There is only one difference between a madman and me. The madman thinks he is sane. I know I am mad.”

~Salvador Dalí

  1. Connor Habib
RPJ, I thought you were a Jameson man. Guess you have to “love the one you’re with” (haha)! I would definitely need some liquor to carry on a conversation with that dude. Speaking of which, I didn’t know that there were good orgasms and bad orgasms – something else I gotta think about now, crap! Thanks a lot man.

    1. Juanito Caminador
I do prefer Jameson over JW, but times are tough right now, and sometimes you need to cut off on some expenses.

Yeah, Conner is a fascinating individual. He recently tweeted this pearl of wisdom:

One of the most damaging and anxiety-inducing myths about sex is that it’s supposed to be good every time.

He sometimes posts some pretty NSFW pics though, so watch out if you decide to follow him 😉

          1. Middling sex is like a
Middling sex is like a middling meal – if one is hungry enough, there will be little complaint.

I feel like I’m chanelling Ben Franklin on this subject.

  2. occult
I am happy to say I have used all of these techniques in the past for my artistic inspirarion , but although I knew they were “occult” that didn’t cross my mind. As you RPJ and many other artists know, maybe with one or two exceptions, these are done on an almost regular basis by artists. At least I do. We used to do the cut up method in high school art class on a regular basis. One of my close friends and professors taught me about astral planes in college. Looking back…I had really cool art teachers.

  3. Icke: The New Alex Jones
I think I feel confident in my own body to say the following:

I would rather be locked in a room with Richard Dawkins and Dan Brown for a day than pass by Icke on the street for a mear second.

Now that I have gotten that out of my mind, excuse me while I go poor Listerine in my ears.

    1. To like Icke
Not to disagree with you, but I think I pair with the likes of Greg Bishop when he once said that he’d rather hang around a circle of ‘true believers’ and Contactees, than in a convention full of Randi-fan skeptics –That said, I’m sure I could find a good deal of many things I could amicably chat about with those dudes, provided we agreed NOT to discuss ‘woo’ topics 😉

But getting back on Icke, I honestly don’t have any dog in that fight. I find his ‘shtick’ completely unappealing and sensationalistic, but at the same time realize that, if you’re willing to peel off all the Reptilian nonsense, there’s a few kernels of interesting stuff that he has to say.

And we also have to consider this: The reason Icke became such a worldwide phenomenon has in fact nothing to do with him. There’s a far deeper reason why he seems to hit a nerve among his massive following; that is what I find interesting.

      1. Let’s assume for a moment
Let’s assume for a moment that all of the reports of technically advanced reptilian looking beings are true – then it is at least a probability that they have some mighty advanced techniques for insinuating themselves into our reality. I am not saying that Icke has any convincing evidence of shape shifting and “possession,” but the possibility of such things being true is not nil.
We should also remember that on other topics Icke was right when the consensus reality was scorning him. For instance, he was blowing the whistle on the covered up pedophile rings a la Jimmy Saville in England long before the truth came out in public.

        1. Pedophile rings
Yeah, I’ve been reading a bit about that, and how Tatcher’s government covered it up. It’s like the most cliched urban legend turning out to be true :-/

Good point. You take away the really fringe stuff, and Icke does say some interesting things about how powerful groups are trying to get even more powerful. His is a very gnostic message, which is why I’m probably not able to deridenhim completely –even though he has become the poster boy of tinfoil hat conspiracies 😉
