Every time I look at a clock lately it’s 1:11, 2:22, 4:44, 11:11…anybody else getting glitches in the Matrix?

Thanks David and Rick.

Quote of the Day:

Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

  1. Watches
I stopped using wrist watches about 20 years ago. Because I was going crazy about just that. I had to watch everytime it got close to numbers like that. I just couldn’t stand it anymore. Back then and for many years after that, there was plenty of opportunities to check them time using clocks out on the town. Nowadays they are not so many anymore. I guess the cell phone has killed them. But I don’t care. I don’t want that compulsion to bloom up again.

    1. Watches…….
I also stopped wearing a wrist watch some 20 years or more ago. However, my reason was that I kept catching it on the edge of my pocket(s) whenever I went to retrieve something.

My solution, and an elegant one at that, was to switch to a pocket watch. Very handy when I need the time, and garners quite a few looks from the ladies since it’s “old school” stylin’ 🙂

But I hear what you’re saying. I, too, have a compulsion and that is whenever I set the cook time (or any other function) on my microwave, it needs to add up to “7”. I find some strange edification inthat the number “7” is sacred to Apollo, and since He is the primary God in my house, it sort of fits.

      Or maybe I’m just nuts…….

My watch says 1:30 (it’s 3:35 EST where I am) so I’m pretty sure it’s not the matrix that has the glitch 😛

    1. Kathleen Turner
Greg Bishop has often mentioned that when he was in touch with alien abduction researcher, the late Kathleen Turner, a lot of weird crap happened to him.

One night he kept waking up at the same time of ‘synchronistic’ intervals (1:11, 2:22, 3:33, etc). He also saw that the correspondence sent to him by Kathleen –and ONLY the one sent by her– had been tampered with.

It triggered in him an increasingly paranoid episode, until one day he got fed up with it, and decided to stop feeling anxious about it.
