News Briefs 05-09-2012

I swear I saw the news levitate.

Thanks Kat & RPJ.

Quote of the Day:

I believe cats to be spirits come to earth. A cat, I am sure, could walk on a cloud without coming through.

Jules Verne

  1. Regarding the
Regarding the “reprogrammability” of DNA, it’s gotten to the point that any claim associated with a Russian name is immediately suspect. And so it is with this one, since the “biophysicist and molecular biologist Pjotr Garjajev”, one of the researchers mentioned and an author of the paper in question, is apparently unknown to the annals of science. Well, at least in his career, whatever he claims it might be, in which he has not authored one or any part of the 22 million bioscientific articles which form the database of Pubmed/MEDLINE. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?cmd=search&db=pubmed

Which means that, scientifically at least, Garjajev does not exist. Huckster, fraud, charlatan; game, set, match. But did we really need to be told that?

    1. The Doctor Exists
No, not The Doctor, but Dr Pyotr Garjajev.

He goes by Peter Gariaev as well. Here he is photographed in Toronto and Dubai.

I’m skeptical of Dr Garjajev’s claims, but I’m not convinced by Darwinian genetics either. I’m currently reading The Biology of Belief by Dr Bruce Lipton, and although most of it is flying over my head at the speed of light, the stuff I am catching is opening my mind to other possibilities. Good music & literature is good for the soul, the placebo effect is well documented, meditation can change the brain for the better… just don’t stand too close to the sub-woofer.

“Those Looking for Ghosts Will See Them—The Etherical Release will take you through the theories of the grave matrix and explain why we see ghosts. When we understand frequency and how it works with the human body, it is easier to see how the grave works.

Everything That Happens to Us Throughout Our Lives is Recorded Into Our DNA—As we decay in the grave our DNA releases frequency and that frequency is delivered by those who can receive it as a paranormal manifestation. This is why we must understand frequency and how it works with the grave, so as investigators of the paranormal, we don’t stand in the way of this vital step in what they call closure and emotional healing.”

      1. bumps in the dark
was thinking more about the guys who came in at a quarter of 10 at night with one leg and 3 teeth and bright green hair………..

……but this is interesting too 😉
actually it poses a similar theory I have that so called “hauntings” are the result of residual energy left behind do to a catastrophic event. Take a murder for example. There is so much conflicting energy caused by the fear, hatred, sadness, exuded by the persons participating in the event that the energy release gets stuck in the walls. Slowly over time it is released and people more sensitive to that energy see it as manifestations of ghosts. It can likely happen in soil too, so the graveyard theory could be very valid.

I can’t see ghosts as well as I could when I was a child, but I can sense a presence, both dead or alive, very strongly before it or I enter a room. I sense a lot of “elementals” around where I currently live. They are distressed because keep destroying the forests to build more houses. Try telling that to people though and they throw you in the bin…

        1. “Residual” hauntings area
“Residual” hauntings area well known phenomenon. These tend to play over and over in a loop and they do not respond intelligently to our interference. That is certainly not the only kind of haunting though.
