"The cosmos is also within us. We’re made of star stuff. We are a way for the cosmos to know itself.
Carl Sagan"
Ok, he refers to matter. And then to "knowing"?
"The cosmos is also within us" evokes "As above, so below" in my mind. Anyone out there with a simple, understandable explanation of what that sequence of language really means?
What is the mapping between man and cosmos, what are the possible correlation points between man and cosmos? What is the meaning of that relationship to a single dolt within homo sapiens sapiens subspecies?

I have my reservations about the author, so yes, i have to give it a try :)
it's just the quote of the day dude...don't think to deeply into it.
"As above, so below" is one of those revered axioms that (to the best of my efforts) i haven't been able to really understand. I even tried adding "duquette" to google search of the phrase! Duh.
Microcosm, macrocosm, planets, stars, planes of what, holographic shrapnels of god... Is it possible to explain that axiom to a layman in written english language?

I insist you give it a try. Except for his take on UFOs, everything in Cosmos is uplifting.
