“The instinct of reverence for the Unknown is implanted in all human life.”

Many thanks to Greg, Rick MG, RPJ, the Anomalist and Owsley.

Quote of the Day:

“Humanity has forgotten how infinitesimal, how impermanent and how ignorant it actually is.”

M.P. Hall

  1. I watched the NatGeo Atlantis
I watched the NatGeo Atlantis special and was really struck by how unadvanced the excavated site further inland appeared to be. The theory was that surviving remants from the Atlantean deluge has reassembled and regrouped at the new site, but there wasn’t even a hint of an advanced technic at the inland site, so Plato may have been grossly exaggerating Atlantean technology, or he may have just been spinning a tala, or the Spanish sites are not Atlantean.
I guess it is possible though that technologically superadvanced Atlanteans made shrines that were non technical and earthy homages to the more primitive.

  2. Happy Birthday Manly P. Hall! …oh and Edgar Cayce
“Hence the disciple of the Ancient Wisdom is taught to realize that man is not essentially a personality, but a spirit.” —Manly P. Hall

“Dreams are today’s answers to tomorrow’s questions.” -Edgar Cayce

    1. Animals & Earthquakes
I wonder what animal activities were noticed before the Japan quake, tsunami.
We’ll never know, Japanese officials are now euthanising every unclaimed pet dog & cat that survived the tsunami.

During the Boxing Day tsunami of 2004, people witnessed elephants and other animals running inland and acting abnormally, before they even knew about the earthquake and tsunami.
