Many thanks to everyday sunshine... and Fishbone.
One of the all-time great songs (and bands)...never fails to lift me out of any blues I'm feeling. Norwood is a monster. Him and Fish absolutely kicking it in the last section...the brothers were sooo tight.
Kind regards,
Greg

Greg--
I had no idea you knew / liked Fishbone... Brilliant!! Safe to say, they're one of my all-time favorite bands (started seeing them in high-school) as well. They fuse rock-ska-funk-reggae-punk into their own unique soul-crunching sound and there's no one like 'em
Oddly enough, I share the same deep appreciation for 'Everyday Sunshine' - it's a song that always shifts my mood instantly (esp. the bridge w/ the horns). Even considered getting a tattoo of 'Everyday Sunshine' at one point, but ultimately reconsidered (as I have with every tattoo).
Thrilled to say that I just saw Fishbone play *last* night in L.A. and they were FANTASTIC. 3 horns (original members back in the band), keys and the guitarist from Suicidal Tendencies just shredding through every song. I was floored by how tight they sounded (not the case the last time I saw them). They have a new ep and there's a fishbone documentary (about their history / influence on music) that's making the festival circuit, so the band is def. riding a good wave...
The Urban Dictionary defines Fishbone as the most underrated band in history... and I couldn't agree more :)

Thank you.
I'm a little OC on the subject of my country(I'm South African), but I'm happy to be here.
