There is hopeful symbolism in the fact that flags do not wave in a vacuum.

  1. Irrational
Oh my…irrational, now that’s a good word. That article about religious leaders seems a bit irrational. That quiz “survey” is irrational. There’s a whole lot of stuff that’s irrational. You know whats irrational? Irrational numbers 😀 you know what else is irrational? A play on words in a science quiz. Oh and abortion is irrational. It’s like beating a dead horse is irrational. Wait what?

Edit: Dr Dre forgot to mention Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune in surround sound. If he’s talking about saturns rings of course.

  2. chasing your tail
Religious leaders are half of it, stupid people who believe all that dogma and evil instead of common sense should be the other half. If we don’t see all sides of it, then it makes about as much sense as blaming the waiter for something the chef did.

The shepherd will always guide the flock…….into a slaughterhouse.

  3. Has Scientific American Lost its Freakin Mind?
Re:Faith and Foolishness: When Religious Beliefs Become Dangerous
    http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=faith-and-foolishness

It is really painful to see this kind of gutter-hording going on at a publication like Sci American. I am left to guess that either the editor had an empty spot on his planning sheet or that the scientific concept was out to lunch when this piece was submitted.

But if you missed it, we are presented with the misconception… that an idea can be dangerous and that the same can be held accountable for what people do with it.

I’m not sure how this once respected journal plans to construct the inquisition that will hold court… but it should be damned interesting to see how they manage to bring the accused to the stand.

Maybe something like… ‘I, (deity of your choice), hereby do swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help myself.’

God must be rolling around in the clouds laughing at us for this one.
