In the name of the Lucas, the Spielberg, and the Holy Cameron…

Big thanks to Rick, Kat & Neytiri.

Quote of the Day:

“Yes, I have received offers from many countries for many cinema films, television documentaries. I have received book offers. I want to write the PERFECT BIBLE. And I say that the Bible which I write and the Vatican Bible should be studied by the American science academy and the Japanese science academy. If as a result of that, it is not said that Agca’s Bible is not more superior to the Vatican bible, more logical and scientific, my Bible should be cast into the rubbish bin of history. I give my word to the world that within a few years I will prove with concrete historical documents that I am Agca the MESSIAH. The world should wait and see.”

Mehmet Ali Agca

    1. Ha Ha Grrrr! 😉
Looking the footage a second time, I agree with the people at Cryptomundo commenting that it’s probably a crewmember riding a mountain bike.

Only that without the bike on sight the position of the body, and fluidity of motion, gives the illusion of a gorilla-like creature.

Youtube has been more of a curse than a blessing for Cryptozoology.

  1. quake
This is terrible over in Haiti. They need help.

Of course the problems would be a lot less if they had some sort of preparation, that’s always the case. And they have a very bad reputation, in terms of being unable to deal with much of anything.

    But they need help now.

  2. getting info into China
If you want to get any information into China, I recommend publishing some open source software, and hiding some info in there. Chinese bots are downloading FOSS like there’s no tomorrow. Russian ones too, they seem to download the same thing many times.

    1. Google’s backflip
I’m extremely cynical of Google. For years they’ve ignored calls to boycott China in protest of censorship and human rights abuses, offering lame excuses while they sucked up to CCP beaurocrats — and now they’re acting all moralistic? Their backflip is entirely out of self-interest, because their servers were hacked.

With 99% of China’s Little Emperors and Empresses not knowing who Tank Man is, or trusting the picture’s authenticity, who’s going to be googling for it in China anyway? Teachers can’t show it in classes, and the media won’t be displaying it. So don’t act like you’re saving freedom of speech in China, Google, when you’ve knowingly helped China deny it to millions for years. It’s like Monsanto offering to help starving Africans.

But I use Gmail, so I’m hypocritical.

      1. possibilities
I have a little information about a possible reason, but it is speculation: they cannot count things properly in China, so they cannot do their business properly.

Perhaps way too many positives on their ad-click counters. Perhaps no way to estimate traffic.
