News Briefs 26-06-2009

A week’s worth of news in a mere 24 hours…

A mighty tip o’ the hat to Greg, RPJ, Perceval and RMG

Quote of the Day:

“Access to the holographic reality becomes experientially available when one’s consciousness is freed from it’s dependence on the physical body. When one is freed from the body, one experiences it directly. That is why mystics speak about their visions with such certitude and conviction, while those who haven’t experienced this realm for themselves are left feeling skeptical or indifferent.”

Kenneth Ring, ‘Life at Death’

  1. Waking Up Is Not So Hard To Do, But There Is A Price
It’s so easy to get wrapped up in the show that you forget the projector and screen. However, be warned. Once you do wake up to the “holographic reality” (words are only pointers), then you won’t be able to enjoy the movies the way you once did.

There has to be a better alternative to the human mind

  2. Most powerful force in the Universe
Oddly, stupidity did not make the list.
That’s because it has quickly been trumped by douchebaggery XD

It’s not the depth of the rabbit hole that bugs me…
It’s all the rabbit SH*T you stumble over on your way down!!!

    1. There is no cure for stupid
Man I wish there was. Had to ask a customer not to lick his fingers to get the credit card slip apart. Boy did I get a look. Or the women who ‘just blow on it’ spit now all over a piece of paper I’m going to have to handle! I have hand sanitizer set up at my work station. Going into a heavily hyped flu season. One would only hope people would think such action through a bit more. So please, cover your cough, sneeze. Wash your hand several time a day, after the restroom. Before eating, after handling money. And don’t lick your money! If you can, carry your own pen too.

    1. Salt Rings, Ice
I don’t know. It sounds more like the road to a margarita to me. That new spaceport is awfully close to Mexico! Pick up the tequila, triple sec, and limes and we just need a glass.

  3. Re charges against people over swine flu pandemic
I agree with Burgermeister that there is a plan by high authority personnel to kill people off by a swine flu pandemic, unfortunately this story will soon drop out of sight or she may become a victim of “suicide”.

There have been several attempts to create a world wide virus that would spread to a pandemic. Remember Sars, Bird Flu, as well as the Swine Flu. Up to now it hasn’t worked but they are pursuing this anyway.

The people who have died, or suffered from, swine flu are no more than happens with an ordinary flu outbreak. Little is said then, but funnily enough, there are more people ill with flu when there is a big take up of the flu injection to when there is a slow take up. I remember one year that for some reason there was a limited source of flu vaccine available in the UK so very few people were able to have the injection, and surprisingly there was no major flu outbreak at all.

I don’t like the way the government of the US is forcing people to have the injection. I dread such a mandatory call happening in the UK as I would be first in line for it, and would probably be denied my vital medication if I refused. I believe that the vaccine would cause more flu than prevent it, and there have been studies which indicate that giving the flu vaccine to older people results in the same number of deaths as those people which didn’t have the vaccine.

We all need to be vigilant but there is only so much we can do to prevent being “killed off” whether intentionally or not.
