Old Persian saying: Go and wake up your luck.

Thank you, Greg! And a huge thanks to Markus, too, for my rare good luck yesterday!

Quote of the Day:

Luck: when your burst of energy doesn’t run afoul of someone else’s.

Mignon McLaughlin

  1. Something may come through ‘dimensional doors’
The LHC, even never taking it’s first step as designed, has opened a whole new door of possibility. Perhaps the gods are trying to warn us. On the other hand, maybe we are just a superstitious species.

One way or t’other, this is really stirring (if not stretching) minds to think outside the box and have a look at possibilities that were before now, the stuff of those books that never made it to movies.

  2. Jesus on pickup
To me, the face looks very similar to this very popular iconic painting of Jesus —although inverted— notice the tilt of the head and the flow of the hair.

As to how exactly the image is being reproduced in the window of the pickup door, I’m uncertain.

  3. News I Can Ewes
Kat, another mind-altering collection of connections!!

Amateurs rule! But the “responsible” thing would have been to include a disclaimer at the end of your blog: “Tethering your cell phone to a microscope is not a supported feature and may void your contract and warranty. Modification should only be attempted by a certified Android programmer. Moreover, using your cell phone for underwater core sampling, Noetic experimentation, cataloguing torcs and petroglyphs, or documenting Ayahuasca trips is inadvisable. Your phone’s GPS knows where you have been.”

And now for something completely different … it’s good to see George Clooney getting back to his comedic roots. I haven’t liked anything he’s done since Return of the Killer Tomatoes. (But of course I’m a dude and don’t fantasize about taking him home to meet my parents.) Can’t wait for Clooney to team up with Jim Carrey for the sequel to Cable Guy! (That’s a “Noetic Wish”.)

    1. Defending Clooney

I haven’t liked anything he’s done since Return of the Killer Tomatoes.

Ok, leaving his dramatic performances aside, like the astounding Syriana —which should be in the Top Ten favorite movies of any self-respecting Grailer :-P— Clooney is hilarious in O Brother, Where Art Thou?. And I <3 I’m a man of constant sorrow 🙂

  4. Lucky McLaughin’
I was being more than a little facetious. Pardon the “Noetic License”. Clooney has done some good work, but my son has never forgiven him for his role in Batman and Robin.
