News Briefs 11-09-2008

I’ve known for years that, no matter how good your firewall, there’s no faster way to royally mess up your computer than to do a thorough search for ‘9-11 Truth’ or conspiracy news. So it took quite a bit of doing, but in honor of the 7th anniversary of September 11, there’s (finally) a wealth of both in today’s news.

A big thanks to Rick & Red Pill Junkie.

Quote of the Day:

One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It is simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been so credulous.

Carl Sagan

  1. If you question the official 9/11 story…
    …you’re in good company:

    Patriots Question 9/11.

Here’s a small sample of what you’ll find at this website:

    I think at simplest terms, there’s a cover-up. The 9/11 Report is a joke.
Raymond McGovern, PhD, former Chairman of the CIA’s National Intelligence Estimates (NIE) and 27-year CIA veteran. (According to the CIA, NIE’s are “the most authoritative written judgments concerning national security issues”)

I now think there is persuasive evidence that the events of September did not unfold as the Bush administration and the 9/11 Commission would have us believe. … An airliner almost certainly did not hit The Pentagon. … The North and South Towers of the World Trade Center almost certainly did not collapse and fall to earth because hijacked aircraft hit them.

William Christison, former Director of the CIA’s Office of Regional and Political Analysis, overseeing 250 CIA analysts. 29-year CIA veteran.

The final [9/11 Commission] report is ultimately a coverup. I don’t know how else to describe it.

Melvin Goodman, PhD, former Division Chief of the CIA’s Office of Soviet Affairs and Senior Analyst from 1966 – 1990.

  2. Murder in Mexico
The police who are no better than the criminals.
That’s because the police IS A CRIMINAL ACADEMY!!
Mr Gomez said that he knew one of the officers accused of taking part in the Marti kidnapping, and he is, in this case, the wrong man. “He’s a badass, he’s corrupt, he’s a thief, and he has probably kidnapped before, but my guess is that he’s not guilty of killing this kid. The real perpetrators are being protected from upon high. The police here have had a lot of power of the past 20 or so years. They’re arrogant, they never follow the rules, they torture people, they act with impunity. The corruption is huge. We have to change everything, from the highest level down. It’s going to be difficult.”
The man he’s referring to is Sergio Ortíz Juárez, who was a police commander in charge of the Crime Prevention Unit during the time of Alfredo “El Negro” Durazo —in Mexico, Durazo is synonymous with Police corruption, he was the head of Police 30 years ago, a bad apple rotten to the core— Recently while he was driving his car two men riding a bike approached him and attempted to kill him; he was hospitalized and from there the authorities began to make a case against him, checking his properties and income.

Last Monday on the news the Police said this man was the leader of the band, and they said Ortíz had a multi-club membership to an exclusive sports club —property of the Marti family— where he picked his victims. They also said his sons helped him in his crimes. One of his sons was the Director of Human Resources at the Center of Studies in Communications Science —he was fired today— and convened a press meeting to claim his father & family are innocent of the charges.

It is worth noting that it wouldn’t be the first notorious criminal case when innocent people were used as patsies. A similar thing happened when a famous TV host named Paco Stanley was murdered about 10 years ago —the suspects were freed years later.

So this case has many inconsistencies. For instance, the claim that Ortíz was a member of the sports club was not true—there’s no record or register of him. And there’s the aspect of the men that shot him; who were they? Members of his own band? Police worried that he would tell too much? This needs to be investigated thoroughly.
Mexico City is an apocalyptically dysfunctional place at the best of times, what with the pollution, the flooding, the teetering concrete slums, and the city sinking into the lake bed upon which it was built. Now the fear is turning into anger.
Yeah… but we have tacos 😉

Thank you Kat for bringing this to the attention of the TDG community.

  3. On Phosphenes and Music
And most importantly was my reread of Dr. Richard Katz’ amazing book: BOILING ENERGY (on the Bushmen trance healing).

So he says that a “pulse” of 8 beats per second is KEY to the trance healing music (without any mention of how this would create an alpha wave entrainment).

He says that this is not the “beat” of the music but the overall total of all the voice inputs and clapping, etc. This is called “N/um music” so that the music creates the boiling energy or n/um.

The n/um must be concentrated in the “gambesi” which is the same as the lower tan tien in Taoism and this is done by shooting “energy arrows” by the healer into the healing trainee. This is also done by Taoist qigong master Chunyi Lin.

Anyway new healers mainly have to work through the pain of the N/um — which means their bodies will pulsate — shiver — contort — out of control. Also new healers have to follow a strict food taboo — no meat! No western food.

Also psychoactive plants are sometimes used to go along with food if it is eaten — like meat.

So if you eat the wrong food it destroys the N/um — this is exactly what I experience day-to-day the n/um pulsations and the problem of “normal” food. I usually have to eat lots of garlic since I’ve been eating meat, etc.

Also the healers that turn into lions can only be seen as lions by other healers — this would be the equivalent of the yin spirit in Taoism. Supposedly a very strong healer can create a physical lion seen by others (which would be the Taoist yang spirit).

Finally when !kia is achieved (samadhi) then a hole is experienced in the body — from the head straight down — about 2 to 3 inches across. This is also described in Taoism — it’s the central channel but also the creation of the astral spirit. It’s taught to be visualized as a silver thread or even a clear beam of light.

    1. Hole in the body
Is that a hole perceived in the ‘physical’ body, or the ‘energetic’ body? Because that reminds me of the books by Castañeda, in which he said a crucial thing that every brujo had to accomplish was to close a gap in their luminous egg. This gap was due to the loss of energy that everybody suffer dealing with our daily petty problems—and apparently women suffered from that gap for giving birth(!)— and without the restoring of the luminous egg, the great perceptions and travels to other realms outside human experience were out of reach.

  4. Well it’s mainly the energy
Well it’s mainly the energy body but the top of the head does get soft and opens up like for a baby. Castaneda was a fake, btw, just read anthropology professor Rodney Needham. He stole his material from a fake German zen practitioner who traveled to Japan and published a well-read book in the 1950s or so.

    1. I know
I know you mustn’t take Castañeda’s material at face value. We’ve discussed that before here. For me, it doesn’t matter if Don Juan existed or not, there are very valuable things to be found in those books nonetheless 🙂
