1. Aryan race did not exist
He said: “Indian seamen had knowledge of sea routes much before the Western sailors could have, and [they] were also well versed in ship building as we can find description of ships in the Rig Veda.

“This is proved by the fact that various artefacts of Harappan civilisation were found in countries as far as Rome and Mexico [emphasis mine],” Dr. Kamat said.
Hmmm… I wonder which artifacts he’s talking about.

    1. artifacts
I don’t know either which artifacts he is talking about. But suppose there are some in Mexico. If we have artifacts that old, it is very hard to determine when they got to Mexico.

Rome is easier to get to from India, you can walk. And I’m sure that artifacts were traded by way of Persia. The Romans traded, indirectly, with China at some point. Also, Alexander got to India. It seems quite likely that his people looted some stuff there, or bought it, and some of it ended up in Rome. My point is that there was contact between India and Rome for a long time. Indian seamen may well have helped with the trade.

Mexico is another case. But in defense of Dr. Kamat (who I have never heard of before, perhaps I should have), he does not say that Indian seamen traveled to Mexico.

True, but he kind of implied it by his assumptions 😉

  2. She-wolf
Carruba said carbon dating of bits of dirt and clay indicate the statue was cast in the 7th or 8th century AD. She also claimed the techniques of casting such a bronze work were developed in medieval times.

Alessandro Naso, an Etruscan expert at the University of Molise, contended that Carruba’s “concluding that it isn’t ancient is based on indirect proof”.
That lupa appears to have more PR agents to defend her pedigree, than the M-H crystal skull 😉
