Well… here goes nothing!

Muchas gracias Greg, Kat & Rick

Quote of the day:

“I don´t care about them [scientists]. They only give us great publicity! This is great! I will be worried when they don´t talk about me! You remember what I said to you about Oscar Wilde? There’s only one thing worse than being talked about and that’s not being talked about. I will be then very worried when suddenly they stop speaking about Uri Geller. Then I know it´s the end of Uri Geller”.

  1. Across the universe with Red Pill Junkie
Congrats on your first news brief, RPJ! Nicely done. Now you can cover for me, Greg and Kat next week. 😛 By the way, you may have a file at the CIA now.

RE: Harrassment by military officials of UFO witnesses and researchers, an interesting book turned up in my mail last week. On The Trail Of The Saucer Spies by Nick Redfern (Amazon US or UK). I have a mountain of books and interviews to climb, but I’ll read and review it soon. Excuse me, I have to cut this post short, there’s someone knocking at my front door…

    1. Thanks a lot Rick
I really appreciate it , and all the help Kat has given me fixing some bugs I left.

Right now Amazon must have a whole server to keep my account’s wish list, but I definitely need to read some of Nick’s and Greg Bishop’s books.

Looking forward for your review. BTW it is my understanding that at least on one occasion there was an MIB incident happening in Mexico, with a guy that had a terrifying encounter with 3 UFos while flying a small airplane (can’t remember the name of the guy, I have to look it up). The transmissions between the pilot and the Control Tower were recorded, and the Control Tower registered 3 blips that left the plane after they departed towards mount Popocatepetl (during the entire time, the pilot lost all control of the ship!).

Anyway, the guy was interviewed by Pedro Ferriz, who was a friend of Dr. Hynek. Ferriz arranged two interviews between Hynek and the witness; by the first interview the guy was pulled over by a car where 2 guys went out and threatened him. By the second time the witness didn’t show up because the MIBs cut him off right at the hotel’s lobby, showed him american official IDs and told him to stop talking about the incident. Hynek wasn’t surprised when the witness didn’t show up though.

      1. Luminous UFO in Mexico
Have you seen any more news about the UFO landing witnessed in Mexico recently, Red? The Inexplicata (Hispanic UFO journal) blog has details.

Unless it was US Homeland Security testing their new flashlight…

        1. Nada 🙁
I did see that blog post at INEXPLICATA, about the UFO sighting in Chilpancingo, in the state of Guerrero (the port of Acapulco is also in Guerrero), and it startled me because there hasn’t been ANY reference to that case (or any recent UFO case in Mexico for that matter) on the major news media. That newspaper they show at INEXPLICATA must be a really small local one.

The only UFO news I have found that it is been discussed on latin news sites currently is the UFO in Argentina, which is also mentioned at INEXPLICATA.

I’ll keep my eyes open, of course.

          1. First news
            Good morning Red,
            You said:

            ‘Well… here goes nothing!’

Please delete ‘nothing’ insert ‘something’. An excellent first choice.

            I’m fanatical about moderation

          2. thanks Anthony
I’m glad you found it interesting. That’s what it’s all about 🙂

  2. Great Opening Salvo, RPG, but . . .
. . . was it really necessary to bring rat kings to my conscious attention?

There are certain things I’m quite sure I’d rather remain oblivious about . . . the photo of the mummified example from the German museum in the link provided in the article may haunt me for decades.

Of course, if the undersea aliens keep severing communication cables, I needn’t worry about such easy access to objectionable information.

    1. He!
I’m gonna talk to Greg about puting some kind of disclaimer:

Any temporal or permanent psychological trauma shall not be the responsibility of TDG

      …Or something like that 😉

      1. Lots of anthousiasm there too
        Good job Red.

Since I am at it, I want to renew my thanks to the whole team for getting those bits together.

I used to search all over for news way back then. Now I use the time to get my espresso ready.

        🙂

  3. well done red……
….you seem to be a pro at it already……

Not surprised they banned that Holocaust float. Something like that would have to be allowed only after 9:30pm. The kids don’t need to see something so graphic.
they grow up soon enough without us pushing them into adulthood.

Such judgment doesn’t always prevail in the States.

A few years back I was working in the billboard business, when a colleague secured a month-long “pro-life” campaign of several billboards featuring a graphic rendering of a bloody mass of infant corpses piled next to a blood-spattered individual wearing physician’s garb.

I don’t recall if there were public protests received by our management at the time, but a few years later I received several calls from local church representatives objecting to a provocative ad featuring an attractive blonde for a tanning salon.

      Values are interesting.

        1. You’re kidding right?
Please tell me you made that up.

          PLEASE.

          1. Good to see divisiveness alive and well
I think it was Jung’s observation that religion is a defense against the experience of God.

I prefer to remain defenseless, thank you.

          2. But then there’s the problem
That you might end up in hell.

            Don’t worry,though; I’ll keep you accompanied 🙂

          3. Wisdom’s all around us
I wonder if the Pope might reflect on his last sentence in that article himself, “We are in need of a bit of silence.”

On a related note, there was a short exchange today about de Mello and the Church’s stance towards him at Prescott’s blog. See this notification.

I’m sure de Mello and Meister Eckhart are keeping one another comfortable, best they can . . .
