Today’s physics news is electrifying.

Thanks to Joe and Greg.

Quote of the Day:

Thousands, if not millions, of people alive today have had the experience of existing outside the space of their physical bodies for a brief period and experiencing this separated state as real, not as a dream or imaginary experience. A typical consequence of such an out-of-body experience is on the order of ‘I no longer believe that I have a soul, or that some part of me will survive death, I know it!’

I would suggest investing in real estate in the foothills.
More seriously, 50 years or so for a sea level rise of maybe 1 meter seems to say that some cities should get ready to move. Treat it as an opportunity, if there is no choice.

  2. Thanks Kat!
Horray! More articles on plasma physics than a plasma cosmology fan could ever hope for. Thanks Kat. Big Bang is going to end up in the trash bin of discarded theories that sounded romantic and exciting, but ultimately proved mistaken.

There is no “missing matter”, duh, that’s why they can’t find it after all these years! Plasma cosmology explains this, and other puzzles of the universe better and simpler than BB, requries NO missing matter/energy, and it now has a string of successful predictions.

BB theorists, on the other hand, do not even believe anymore that the universe collapses, only to explode again. They now think it is just going to expand forever until it fizzles out. BB thoery has more patches now than Windows XP. The equations are so ridiculously difficult that it is has turned into “a form of recreational mathematics, endlessly fascintating to those who can play”, (David Lindlay, Phd.) but with absolutely no proof (string theory is very much tied into this).

The Daily Grail, which prides itself on questioning the mainstream,
will hopefully keep up with this theory as it progresses. Readers, beware of lame attempts to discredit and dismiss this theory by those Astrophysicists who have only a limited understanding of it. A great many of their objections have indeed been answered, despite their claims otherwise.

    Thanks again,

    Hi Kat n all,

Thats a lot of electric universe, possibly a bit too much at once , personally i’ve been an adherent of the theory for some years. Considering the general (stalemate)view on egyptology etc over here, the situation at astrofysics is even worse. Deeply outmoded theories, based on mechanical worldviews, unreconsilable observations, it must be mindtwisting.

My reason for posting here is another of your links that really kicks some ass , http://www.quantumaetherdynamics.com/quantumleap.html for those interested in the underlying nature of nature a must read, the simplicity of it is beautiful and the math /fysics doesnt require a genius to comprehend, far from it. Take some time to read it, well worth the time and as far as im concerned the link of the week.

Keep up the good work Kat.
