Hancock at CoSM

Graham Hancock’s newsdesk has word of a New York lecture which Graham will be giving this week (November 17), which I thoroughly recommend if you’re nearby. Not only is it Graham speaking about his new book Supernatural, but it is being held at Alex Grey’s Chapel of Sacred Mirrors visionary art gallery, and is only $8 entry charge. Hell, I’d drive through the night to get to that (well, technically I could fly through the night and get there, but the $2000 airfare is an add-on charge I can’t really afford).

    The appearance of Graham Hancock at Alex Grey’s COSM in NYC on Nov. 17, 2005, was actually the book launch event for my new anthology for The Disinformation Company, titled “Underground- the Disinformation Guide to Ancient Civilizations, Astonishing Archaeology and Hidden History,” containing contributions from not only Graham himself, but also Robert Schoch, William Corliss, David Hatcher Childress, Colin Wilson, John Anthony West, Frank Joseph and many more as well.     I thought I would put this post here as it applies to Hancock’s book.I have just begun reading it and already I am blown away.There is all this new stuff I do not know about.It is wonderful.I am trying to find time to sneak away and finish reading it.

    Does anyone remember when the dentists used to use nitrous oxide? I think it’s laughing gas, but obviously used in larger quantities by the dentist.
    I had a number of teeth out as a child with nitrous oxide and I well remember the hallucinations.
    I always saw a huge white unicorn dancing around with swirling colours and patterns behind it.
    This is not the same drug as Hancock used but I certainly understand what he would have seen.

    The part that intrigues me is that everyone sees the same sort of hallucinations.I didn’t think that was possible.
    I will be very interested if science takes the opportunity Hancock has given them to explore this further.
