For those that like to take in a vista of galactic proportions: a photo I took last weekend of the centre of our galaxy, as seen from the dark skies of northern Australia (camera was a Canon 6D). Sharp-eyed folk will be able to see the constellation Scorpius among the throng of stars in the middle of the image (hint, look for the red giant Antares).
